Numerical study of inlet Reynolds number in fine particles deposition processes in a flue gas turbine

Catalyst particles will stick on the surface or rebound in the flue gas turbine. The gas-solid phase flow has been further studied numerically at different Reynolds numbers. The pressure drop Δp, temperature drop ΔT and velocity improvement Δv increase with the Reynolds number. Besides, inlet Reynolds number helps deposition develop except the pressure side of the stator blade.337
