Abstract
This work with a hierarchy nanoporous γ-Al2O3with high specific area to encapsulate abundant liquid electrolyte, a novel quasi solid electrolyte (QSE) was obtained to be applied in lithium metal batteries. Thus obtained QSE displays the integrated advantages of rigid solid structure framework (to support sufficient mechanical and thermal stabilities against Li dendrite and thermal abuse) and highly ionic conductive liquid electrolyte (to ensure high ionic diffusion property). It is also found that the QSE exhibits superior resistance to Li dendrite growth as well as mechanically stability against thermal and pressure abuse.52
