Abstract
87In the present work explores a novel, convenient, highly versatile and eco-friendly protocol for the synthesis of quinoline is presented. The method is based on the use of TiO2Al2O3ZrO2 as an efficient and reusable nano-structured catalyst. A variety of anilines reacts with ethylacetoacetate afforded the substituted quinolines in excellent yields. The advantages of methods are short reaction times and milder conditions, easy work-up and purification of products by non-chromatographic methods.
