Abstract
M0.45Eu0.05Zr2(PO4)3 @SiO2 luminescent nanocomposites with Mâ¯=â¯Ca or Ba were obtained from the corresponding M0.45Eu0.05Zr2(PO4)3 cores covered with silica by the Stöber method. Previously, cores were obtained by a sol-gel process followed by a treatment under N2/H2 or N2 flow. Both, cores and nanocomposites samples show a high luminescent emission in the blue-green region depending on the barium and calcium presence.157
