Abstract
Nanosized metallic Cu serves as a high-performance cathode in non-aqueous lithium-ion batteries. Computational modelling and experimental results confirm that metallic Cu cathode undergoes a two-electrons conversion reaction. A Cu/Li4Ti5O12 full cell successfully demonstrates an outstanding performance.181
