Abstract
Optical measurements with tracer droplets and solid micro particles were carried out in order to investigate the flow conditions inside spiral jet mills. The effects of different milling nozzle numbers on the flow conditions are correlated with the grinding results and the differences between unloaded and loaded mills are described.196
