Abstract
In the present paper, the time evolution in thermal channel of the multiphoton added-then-subtracted coherent states are investigated based on the compact expression of normalization factor relating to Laguerre polynomials. We have analytically derived the time evolution of normally ordered density operator, Wigner function, and tomogram function in thermal channel respectively, and analyzed the decoherence effect in detail accordingly. The decoherence process and several novel evolution phenomenons of the resulting states evolving in thermal channel are clearly unveiled numerically.
