Abstract
A simple cable-strut structure with one strut and two cables (connecting at node O) is used to study the effect of initial imperfection (y0(x)) analytically: (a) The 1st mode of the initial imperfection; (b) The 2nd mode of the initial imperfection; (c) The 3rd mode of the initial imperfection. L is the initial span and two end points of the cable-strut structure are pin points.69
