On comparing the stability, toxicity and anti-leishmanial activity of triphenyl Sb(V) and Bi(V) acetato complexes, the Sb(V) complexes outperform their more unstable and toxic Bi(V) analogues, confirming this general class of Sb(V) complexes as the more promising leads.60
