Abstract
This paper considers an immobile service network design/redesign problem with multiple location-aware service types and general service-time distributions where customers are assigned to appropriate service centers based on their geographical locations and requested service types. The problem seeks to design the service system so as to maximize a performance metric considering the system's profitability and social metrics of service accessibility and quality under different service-delivery policies. The problem is formulated as a discrete optimization model, and different managerial insights are provided.
