The Spanish loanword lado in Otomi spatial descriptions

Abstract

âº We show that the relative frame of reference depends greatly on the loanword lado. âº We show that lado is used in most frames of reference in SIT Otomi. âº We propose that SIT Otomi disprefers frames of reference anchored on the speaker.
