Abstract
⺠Preferences in spatial frames of reference (FoRs) in Tarascan are presented. ⺠The use of body part affixes is excluded from the use of object-centered FoRs. ⺠Geomorphic and landmark-based FoRs are favored; the use of relative FoRs is scarce. ⺠Direct FoR is dominant in orientation descriptions under specific conditions. ⺠The combination of various FoRs in a single locative description is attested.
