Abstract
⺠Sumu-Mayangna speakers display access to multiple spatial FoR strategies. ⺠The direct FoR is most preferred. ⺠Absolute FoR usage is restricted to older generations, and for east/west contexts. ⺠Nonlinguistic task performance indicates a bias toward the absolute solution type. ⺠Some evidence for linguistic and cognitive performance alignment is indicated.
