Abstract
The article deals with Emil Medtner's well-known project of editing the journal Trudy i dni (Works and Days). It also traces the economic aspect of publishing a Symbolist journal. The article contains the complete list of subscribers to the journal; each name is supplied with a short (bio)bibliographical note. The subscribers' list expands our knowledge of the audience which Medtner and his circle targeted when they founded and edited the journal.
