Abstract
In this article the author examines the role of time in some of Ryzhii's “later” poems. The past entails a central role for memory, which sometimes leads to an almost nostalgic view of childhood, and an elegiac note in some poems about (lost) love. The author provides a detailed analysis of three poems concerned with this thematics of time, past, but also future.
