In this article the author explores anagrammatic patterns, along with other instances of sound repetition and sound symbolism, in the writings of Daniil Kharms, in particular in his fragment “Koleso radosti zhena…”. It is argued that this text is a case of cryptography, and can be deciphered as referring to both personal-individual and cultural-political events and circumstances.
