Abstract
The author discusses the role of “metagraphemics”, the artistic employment of graphic elements, both in the Russian Historical Avant-Garde and in more recent forms of literary art, such as Ry Nikonova's and Sergei Sigei's Transfurism. These phenomena are connected with Derrida's views on writing and deconstruction.
