Abstract
One of the specific features of F.I. Tiutchev's poetic style is a relatively frequent use of “kak by”. This article is devoted to some semantic peculiarities of Tiutchev's “kak by” through the prism of intertextuality. Here we analyse the use of the well-known verse line “kak by rezviasia i igraia” in modern speech.
