Abstract
This article observes how the principle of seriality is embodied in Kharms's poem ‘Zvonit'letet'’. The author concentrates on the subjects and predicates which form serial constructions. The seriality of subjects is based on a variety of “concrete” subjects, whereas the seriality of the predicates is based on the repetition of words with the roots -let- and zvon-/zven-. Special attention is paid to the infinitive, which is regarded as a “pre-form” of the verb.
