Abstract
The goal of this essay is to show the workings of time in Blok's poetry, the dynamic relations between the givens of the calendar, and his subjective transformations of experience. The interweaving of chronologies between Blok's diary and notebook entries, the personal and the public, and the subjective and the objective, enables us to appreciate Blok's complex representation of the world, both experienced and imagined.
