Abstract
In the recent years, the Arab world has witnessed many crises; the biggest was the revolutions that broke out in some countries and that were named later the Arab Spring. 2011 was an exceptional Arab year, thus, the Tunisian revolution or “the Jasmin Revolution” was the first popular uprising that toppled an established regime in the Middle-east and north Africa, followed by not so different revolutions in other neighbour countries,This paper aims to evaluate the political instability, social repercussions of events and its implications on the economies of Arab countries five years after the revolutions, focusing on the cases of three North African countries Tunisia, Libya and Egypt
