Modern liberalde mocracy is inseparable from the conviction that the protection of natural human rights requires law not only as a social institution which regulates relationships of society members, but also as an institution that leads tothepeacefuldevelopment of these relationships. However lately, thegrowingtensionsamong the countriesrevealthe decline of this conviction. The question iswhether liberaldemocraticsocieties, the members of whicharemostly grownunder conditions of freedomandpeace,are strong enough to facethese threats? Thisnewly developing socialsituation requires athoroughresearch of a state of legalconsciousness.The majority of members of modernsocietyacquirecomprehensive education,which, inter aliaforms theframework of legal consciousnessof the youngergeneration and thus enables its representatives to base thesocial interactionon therespect forthe dignity of other human being.The purpose of this paper is to reveal the features of the content of the education of legal consciousnessin a comprehensiveschool.
