Abstract

The aim of this paper is to present the results of the development of a web portal with audiovisual content accessible for people with sensory functional diversity (hearing and visual), through different modes of translation and interpreting. The purpose of this portal is multiple: first, it aims to be a contribution to the social and cultural integration of minority social groups; furthermore, it aims to create a repository of reference materials available for both people with sensory functional diversity and professionals and teachers in the field of translation and interpreting; finally, it enables the evaluation of such accessible material through case studies performed online in the portal itself, thus establishing quality patterns for the concepts of universal accessibility standards, both in educational and professional contexts.
