Abstract

Computer-assisted translation (CAT) technology has experienced a dramatic growth in recent years and its use has spread to specialties like legal translation, not so much for their performance and productivity but for their quality control functions. The aim of this work is to propose a protocol to extract frequent terminology and phraseology in order to increase CAT tools performance, improve quality control features and help to produce resources with teaching purposes in the translation of contracts.
