Abstract
The paper's aim is to demonstrate how Gemricik – a society movement in Bandung city – can more effectively partner with the city residents around Cikapundung River under the rubric of ecopreneurship. An analysis of actual cases of collaboration between such parties informs a suggested public engagement approach. A structured approach to engagement through “the triple drivers of ecopreneurship” towards ecopreneurs society is possible if Gemricik movement understand how to effectively involve the city residents in their work, which provides opportunities for future economic development, yet at the same time produce net environmental gains.
