Mentality towards work is a highly complex construct, and for his understanding is required an analysis from multiple perspectives. It can be analyzed in terms of variables such as: age, cultural differences, money, and professional identity. This research aims to analyze the relationship between the mentality towards work and variables: age, professional responsibility, self-determination and avoidance. The results obtained indicate that subjects over 30 years, and which have the responsibility of the teaching profession, have a positive mentality towards work. They are more involved and determined to assume the work. In contrast, the subjects under 30 years and without professional responsibilities have a negative attitude towards work.
