Abstract

The paper represents an invitation to “twisting”, a recall of the analytical thinking towards an impressive domain from the standpoint of the ideative dynamics, the pedagogical Romanian thinking of the 1890-1950 period. The central subject of this discourse is represented by the teaching principles as they were expressed by the most outstanding thinkers in the domain such as Borgovan, Gavanescul, Pipos, Teodosiu, Brandza, Barsanescu, Antonescu. Positioned in hermeneutics, the author does not ignore the filiations identification of the opinion “distances” and of the original elements. Moreover, the paper is built on the intention of updating the previous researchers’ thinking, not on order to “allow them to take part in the present debates” (Dogan and Pahre, 1993) but to outline and recompose the nutrients of the affiliation joy to a sparkling spiritual space, i.e. the Romanian ideas on different aspects of education. The meeting with your own history represents an adventure with a cultural value, the self-bringing up and self-accomplishment. This axiom entails assuming an attitude specific to the historians of the domain whose mission is “… not that of building but that of finding out and reconstructing the reality”. Besides the visualizing the ideative hints, the theoretical ability is obvious and the paper is a premises for an approach to comparative pedagogy.
