Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of activity of Slavic universities as new phenomenon in the sphere of Post-Soviet university education. Objects of the analysis are six universities which have arisen in the countries of the former Soviet Union, which have in their names the term “Slavic”. The typology of Slavic universities is offered. On the basis of the content analysis of agreements on international cooperation is determined the policy vector in the sphere of university education. The article shows that the connection between the Slavic universities should be more durable. Commonwealth Slavic University has a positive outlook.
