Abstract
The higher the cohesion of the group is, the greater the efficiency is, if the group attitudes support the organization's objectives. It is believed that the effectiveness of fulfilling the objectives results from the combination of group positive attitude and energy conservation required to maintain group harmony. Hence two hypotheses:1.Cohesive groups influence the members to have uniform attitudes, so that the more members are attracted to the group, the group has more influence on them.2.There is a relationship between attitudes toward efficiency and cohesion, this relationship becoming stronger by the existence of group cohesion. However, evidence for this hypothesis is uncertain.
