Abstract

The research and experiments we have carried out showed that interdisciplinarity as an interaction between two or more disciplines is a necessary condition and an important part of the modernization of the educational process. Teaching geography in the primary school covers all forms of interdisciplinary aspects (contents, objectives, learning activities, methodology. The possibilities which are to be described in the present paper refer to the interdisciplinary or transdisciplinary instruction between geography chemistry and ecology or natural sciences on the basis of certain interactions which manifest through: the taking up of methods and information or of a specific language of the above-mentioned disciplines.
