Abstract

Due to susceptibility of growing aged population, their health promotion is regarded very important. In this qualitative research, 34 participants (nurses, midwives, and nursing assistant) were interviewed using deep semi-structured method. All the interviews were recorded and transcribed later and were finally analyzed utilizing qualitative content analysis. Promoting feeling valuable, old age appreciation and physical-hygienic needs accommodation were found as promoting senile health strategies from the participants’ points of view. Attending to promoting senile health strategies could be useful in developing more effective interventions through which the required areas for more studies could be detected more clearly, accordingly.
