Abstract
Blended learning is spreading around the world. There exists a big amount of literature describing the use of it but at the same time there is a lack of research which would lead to understanding its nature and transformational potential which, in their turn, can help develop effective strategies and teaching models. The paper is an attempt to assess the effect of blended learning by surveying students completed the hybrid course to find out the level of their satisfaction with this format. The results obtained indicate the enhancing and transforming nature of blended learning and also prove that the national specifics of educational systems should be taken into account while introducing it.
