Abstract
Promoting the development of a healthy lifestyle should be one of the priorities of the family, school and society at large. We live in a modern society where, due to technological progress and risk factors (addiction to alcohol, illegal drugs, smoking etc.) the number of young people having a sedentary, unhealthy lifestyle is growing.The active and regular practice of physical activities has a beneficial influence on the human body: the body gets stronger and healthier, body posture is corrected and the body develops harmoniously. Moreover, such activities contribute to achieving mental balance and a state of well-being, and a pro-exercise attitude develops, which all contribute to achieving a better quality of life.
