Abstract
The orientation of modern performance training in swimming is to correlate physiological, biological, biomechanical particularities, revealed through evaluation tests for maximal aerobic power (VAM-eval), with the results obtained during different freestyle events (FS) in competitions. This correlation allows better objectivization of the training effort parameters starting from the maximal aerobic speed (VAM).
