Abstract

The reason for choosing this topic of experimental research was based on the fact that in the framework of the preliminary periodic tests applied in winter, a fairly large number of junior football players score rather poorly on the specific tests concerning the coordination component, which has direct implications on their physical and technical results. Our psychomotor assessment consisted in two tests, the coordination and the balance tests, using the specific items of the Bruininks-Oseretsky battery. We used specific tools to perform a computer-based statistical analysis of the results in the initial testing, relying on the BOT-2-ASSISTTM Scoring and Reporting System.
