Abstract
In an highly competitive global market public authorities encounter difficulties in creating value for their stakeholders. The authors introduce the prosumer concept for urban management, by adapting their established prosumer-oriented corporate strategies to citizen co-creation degrees. The present article represents a response to the shifting power equilibrium in the market, with practical uses for Timisoara's urban management. With this aim, we have developed a participation ICT interface in order to enable, engage and empower citizens to increase the city's quality of life.
