Abstract

Every individual has different learning styles. Therefore, learning style is used to describe the attitude and behavior to determine individual learning styles. Polytechnic students are students who tend to learn something through’hands on’ and the method is very suitable based on mobile learning features that can make learning anywhere and anytime. However, is there a relationship between learning style and level of acceptance of mobile learning AutoCAD course at the polytechnic students? This study is a case study involving students at the Polytechnic Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, from the Department of Mechanical, first year student (N = 30) who are enrolled AutoCAD. The instrument used was a questionnaire and data was analyzed to obtain the mean value, standard deviation, percentage and correlation. The findings of this study show that there is a positive and significant relationship between learning style and level of acceptance of mobile learning. The implications of this study provide information of learning styles have a relationship level of acceptance of mobile learning students from the polytechnic. In general, these findings contribute to the formation of criteria of mobile learning materials appropriate to the learning style of students at the Polytechnic.
