Abstract
The pedagogical foundation of eLearning reflects several principles of both learning and teaching. First of all constructivist learning. When acquiring of new pieces of knowledge is influenced by our consciousness. Constructivism took over the opinion of motivation and its importance from adapted learning system. The article attempts to clarify the part of constructivist learning as taken in the development of eLearning. eLearning fulfils two tasks – the one of ensuring contact with a teacher as well as the one of facilitating a learner’ effort in a way.
