Study on the students’ opinion about the educational process in higher education

This study shows the opinions of students of the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences, “Ovidius” University of Constanta, Romania, about the educational process in higher education. In this regard, during the academic year 2012-2013, to discipline “Didactics of psychology”, we applied the “The Questionnaire about the Educational Process in Higher Education”. The questionnaire was sent to a sample of 30 students attending classes to prepare for a teaching career. The subjects answered to questions regarding the roles of teachers in higher education, the qualities of a teacher, the effectiveness of assessment and teaching methods, ways to improve the quality of teaching performance time for individual study. The conducted study shows the necessity of developing and strengthening a modern instructional process, centred on the student.
