Abstract
In this paper I offer a brief analysis of the specific features of Christian education. The information is structured in two sections: in the first section I present the theories of adult learning that I use in the analysis, as well as a brief overview of the features and theories of the Christian education. In the second section of the paper I analyze the institution of catechumenate from the point of view of the adult education theories, presenting its specific and its principles.
