Abstract

Recent developments in the field of entrepreneurship have led to a renewed interest in communication and leadership. This paper is an investigation on female leaders’ communication strategies in entrepreneurship and the factors for using those strategies. It interprets the strategies utilized by those women entrepreneur leaders in their workplace interaction with regard to the roles. Seven eligible women entrepreneur leaders who matched the selection criteria were observed and interviewed. The finding shows that a leader should be aware of the factors that focus on relationships, symbolic communication, body language, and cognitive complexity for a better, more effective communication strategy.
