The aim of the present research has been that of emphasizing the role of the persuasive messages in influencing the teachers’ attitude towards change. Focus has been laid on the determination of the teachers’ degree of resistance to change, as well as on the constancy of the attitude towards change. Some of the statistic operations used have been: the mean calculation for the variable attitude towards change; the factorial analysis for establishing the factorial validity of the scale; Cronbach-alpha consistency coefficient for checking the validity of the questionnaires etc. If the subjects have an initial anti-change attitude, a persuasive counter-attitudinal message will lead immediately to a significant increase in the pro-change attitude, however, the effect is no longer accentuated with the passing of time in this case.
