Abstract
The paper focuses on specific applicative dimension, on the coordinates of promotion of intercultural dialogue and affirmation of cultural diversity in educational space and also on the current concerns of redefining the mission of education in the new coordinates of globalization. It is necessary to identify training needs of teachers in order to pursue educational approach in promoting cultural diversity and to highlight the possible solutions for acquiring the intercultural competence at educational beneficiaries. Promoting an educational policy for the cultural diversity determines the complexity of the process of transformation of education in acquiring intercultural attribute.
