Abstract
This article represents the results of empirical research of Russian students’ motivation to study abroad. There were identified motives which motivate Russian students to get education abroad the most. Also, the correlation between type of motivation and motives has been studied. Aiming to study motivation to get education abroad, 149 students of different educational backgrounds and from different parts of Russia were asked.
