Abstract
Research in the learning/study strategies field has shown an association between these variables and academic results. Our goal was to identify students’ study strategies in a virtual learning environment. The results show, in general, an awareness of how to work in these contexts. In terms of communication students seek to use the potential of the system to contact teachers and colleagues. However, they don’t use the potentialities of communication for the preparation of presential tests. In online learning there is a particular interest in students acquiring and knowing appropriate study strategies to self-regulate their learning.
