Abstract

“English as a Second Language (ESL) teachers in Malaysia, as in many other countries, are anxious to exploit the potential of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to enhance the teaching and learning process”, Yunus [1]. Thus, this paper explores the potential of a wiki-based website among part-time postgraduate students who are also school teachers in collaborative story writing. This research focuses on the collaborative aspects of story writing that investigates the students’ interaction with the wiki based site. Data was collected and analyzed by means of qualitative methods. The results suggested that teachers found that through a fun activity of collaborative story writing using wiki, it could potentially enhance the teaching and learning process of writing for students, while integrating ICT in teaching.
