The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between teachers’ perception of principal support that contributed to the needs of the collective work gained by teachers. A total of 201 teachers from Chinese Private Secondary Schools in Penang, Malaysia were selected as respondents. Questionnaire was used to collect data. Data was analyzed using the descriptive and inferential statistics. The result showed that there is a moderate, positive and significant relationship between the principal support and the needs of collective work gained by teachers. Thus the needs of collective work required by the teachers and principal's concern of teacher welfare are the significant predictors toward the needs of collective work gained by teachers.
