Abstract
This paper presents a study on 111 pupils coming from families promoting intra-family violence, aged between 14 and 18. The central objective of the paper was to highlight the existence of significant correlations between the emotional stability of the pupils coming from families promoting intra-family violence and self-esteem, measured on three dimensions: self-love, self-image and self-trust. The emotional stability and self-esteem variables represent key elements in the development and optimization of certain resources to maintain balance in all interpersonal relationships, they forming the premise of shaping the behaviors adapted to reality.
