Abstract

The paper advocates human resources’ development through professional training and describes a research-action project, based on documentary analysis, questionnaire and interview, for the implementation of an inclusive interregional model for professionally inactive Roma women, a study on their difficulties and elimination of managers’ prejudices across a target group (860 professionally inactive Roman women from five Romanian counties, aged 18-46, and 200 company managers). The results contributed to Roma population's awareness of education's role, professional training and the elimination of stereotypes, recommending Roma women's employment through ability-focused activities, their computer skill training, needed by the entire population in transition.
