Abstract
This paper aims to check the applicability of the sustainable innovation system concept on developing countries, verifying if them are suitable for such an approach, by means of a comparative and investigative study, exploring how environmental regulations related to electronics e-waste mobilize networks of academic, private and government actors for the generation and diffusion of sustainable technical and managerial innovations for compliance with these regulations. A study, based on legislation analysis and a survey of government, academy and companies actions is presented for the case of Brazil.
